Elon enters India.

Musk's tweet reads: As promised. As he registers a new office in Bangalore, India. Now, I understand that most people who read my blog can afford a Tesla at its price on the Western Roads. However, Musk's plans will startle the whole automobile industry, because the meme fanatic is going to make his cars available to the Indian middle-class.
BJP's Make in India does not seem that bad now does it?
India has always wanted Tesla. Even if it was for the Mercedes driving population, this brand was still a starry dream for Indian drivers. A brand new competitor with an outstanding brand image and brilliant PR. Tesla is going to come into India and push out the pollution away (hopefully). The company's electric approach to automobile aligns with the Central Government's big goal of setting up more than 80,000 electric vehicle chargers across India.
The company is perfectly timing its entry, and it could not be more fruitful for the richest man on the planet. The company will target about 8,50,00,000 (8.5 Crore) customers and capitalise heavily on the low production costs and reduced barriers of entry.
It is a dream come true for many, and the car is yet to become the dream for many. Time will tell whether the company pushes the competition out, settles with them, or forces them to divorce from the Indian Automobile Industry.
