India will begin the world's largest vaccination project from 16th January.

Before starting off, I would like to say that I do not support or oppose the vaccines. I am just passing on information.
India has approved the use of Oxford and AstraZeneca's vaccine, with its first shot to be used on 10th January. Their vaccine will be administered under the name "Covishield". After that, the 1st phase of the vaccine will begin, which focuses on vaccinating more than 30 Crore Indians; with the first 10 Crore being covered by PM Care funds. The priority is for medical workers, frontline support, and police-force.
The rules of the vaccination procedure are:
Before administering the vaccine, the individual will be given all necessary information about the vaccination procedure and process
The vaccine will be given a second time within 4-6 weeks of the initial dose
Every vaccinated individual will have to report any adverse effects of the vaccine every 15 days
The vaccination will be entirely free for our three crore medical and frontline workers. The next priority will be the police force, after which individuals over the age of 50 will be catered for.
The government will digitise the procedure of monitoring the vaccines. They will create an app or platform that will report the vaccine stock, storage temperatures, location, and other general public information. Currently, 79 Lakh frontline and medical workers have signed up for it, and it will soon be made free for the public.
There will be a team of 2,360 executives who will monitor the vaccination procedure. 61,000 program managers will be in charge of various localities, 2 lakh vaccinators (people who will administer the vaccine), and 3.7 lakh other individuals, which will help smooth the whole drive.
The government has done dry (mock) runs for understanding the administration procedure in 33 States/Union Territories. The whole process is ready to begin execution, and it will start on 16th January. The general public is expected to receive the vaccination in February at the cost of Rs. 200-250 per dose.
