36,000 fake degrees found.

ree

Manav Bharti University in Himachal Pradesh has been found for a prolonged conspiracy present since 2009. The university has been issuing 36,000 fake degrees for students across 17 states, this was uncovered after certain anonymous reports filed against the school.

Post the report being filed the police have checked 14 out of 55 hard disks, and the number of the fake degrees is rapidly rising. Raj Kumar Rana, the chairman of Manav Bharti Trust is at the centre of this conspiracy. The investigators have linked more than 190 Crore Rs. in assets and money laundering to pay for the fake degrees.

The police are uncovering this racket. However, for certain that this decade long scam will have more involvement from all legal entities than we see. The congressmen have already made a huge ruckus trying to get the police to work and the MLAs are seeking for vote banks, but this is all too suspicious to ignore that they themselves have been a facilitating facet within this whole business.

It is a rising concern about the Indian judicial system, that how easy it is for these things to fly below the radar. Every nation has a dark side where money laundering and these frauds are prevalent, however, it is India where these actions go unnoticed because of the ease of corruption and the willingness to accept bribes.

The police are anyhow attempting to solve the case, however, it will not be a surprise that still some big-shots continue to roam free without any charges. Time will tell, hopefully a good news.
