Yup, you read it right.

In recent news, Delhi finally caught a break. After weeks of struggle, there is a 12% in (COVID) positivity rate. Yesterday Delhi recorded only 8,500 new COVID cases, which is the first time that the "new-cases today" number has gone below 10,000 in a month.
Moreover, in the last week more than 3,000 hospital beds have been vacated. The ICUs, however, remain fully occupied.
The Delhi government is now going to increase its strictness in COVID related matters, and is now showing a new side against this battle against the virus. The overall oxygen demand has also fallen by almost 400 Metric Tonnes. These are some positive highlights after a month of struggle and sombre.
There is always an argument of how testing labs are shut and the numbers are falsely reported. However, unlike the news from Kolkata, death certificates and tests were not issued; Delhi does not seem to face the same case. So this indeed can be a new and positive chapter in Delhi's struggle against COVID.
Let's hope for the trend to remain. Stay safe, stay negative.
